Sechelt

M.C. Sara

Sara took on the job of MC and her enjoyment of the role was contagious!  Great job Sara!

Our tandem team of Hazel and Meg for word of the day was a first and worked out really well.

Tag Team Word – You’re so “VAIN”

Daphne stepped up and was super brave in doing a little singing in front of everyone. Good job as our improv leader Daphne!

Next week our MC is Jake.

Table topics curator is Sarah.

Word of the day is Coen

Class clown is Rathlin.

Our Quizzer is Nigel.

Our timer is Hazel.

Our improv game will be from Josh.

And presentations will take up the bulk of the day from Nigel, Daphne, Meg, and Rathlin.

These presentations should be about interviewing an elder. Make sure you don’t wait till the last day folks because it’s a real drag feeling like your panicked when you’re giving a presentation. It’s way more fun when you’re prepared.

Gibsons

MC MADDY!

In Gibsons we had Madeline as our MC and it’s a pretty tough role for somebody that young to take on so I give her kudos for doing so. She also improved noticably over the course of the class! Way to go Madeline!

I also really liked Liina’s word of the day “elated”. This is a great example of a word of the day that you will use over and over. We use the word “happy” a lot. Elated isn’t a crazy word that you’ll never hear again but it’s slightly different and that’s what we’re trying to do with word of the day.

Way to go Brandalyn!

Kudos to Brandalyn who was not crazy about getting up and giving a presentation but did it anyway!  It’s super brave to push past your fear and do something that you’re not comfortable with.

Georgia took her quizzer role pretty seriously and had some excellent

questions that made us all think!

Next week our MC will be Jonah.

Our table topics curator will be Madeline.

Maria will have word of the day.

Class clown will be Simon.

Quizzer will be Liina.

Brandalin will be our improv leader.

Presentations will be from Iris and Lucy!

We’re going to miss Bella for the next few weeks who is going on an awesome trip. We’ll miss you kid – hurry back!
